WILL MOSS TO SPEAK AT SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING SUMMIT IN SAN FRANCISCO

OH - Will Moss, an African American technology expert
and social networking guru, is among several key speakers to address
the Social Media Marketing Summit in San Francisco on October
1-2, 2008. The conference, which will be held downtown at the
Moscone Center, brings the exciting world of social media into
focus for marketing professionals.
Attendees
will include brand managers, merchants, interactive agencies,
bloggers and other industry professionals. The event is designed
to educate them about the latest technology and opportunities
in social media, how to deal with the threats, and how to measure
success.
Moss, who
is best known as the founder and developer of HBCUconnect.com
- the first ever social network for African Americans, will sit
on a panel entitled Segmentation and Diversity. Along with two
other panelists - Chris Saad, CEO of DataPortability.org and Ian
Swanson, CEO of Sometrics - he will discuss how marketers can
reach very specific groups of users via behavioral targeting,
niche social sites, campaigns at specific demographics, hyper
targeting, etc.
Others speakers
include the VP of social media strategies at Wells Fargo, the
senior manager of social media at Best Buy, a Senior VP from Comscore,
the director of marketing at Yamaha, the director of business
development at Ticketmaster, and the manager of social media at
Cisco.
