Dante Lee was recently featured on the Tavis Smiley Show on PRI
(Public Radio International), live from his studio headquarters
in Los Angeles. Lee is the CEO and founder of Diversity City Media,
an African American marketing and PR firm based in Columbus, Ohio.
During the
interview, Lee spoke about the African American web properties
that he and partner Will Moss have housed under their recently
formed Lee Moss Media brand. These include BlackNews.com, BlackHistory.com,
HBCUconnect.com, BlackWomenConnect.com, BlackInAmerica.com, and
many others.
Lee elaborated
on their mission to create the most relevant and resourceful online
experience for African Americans, and their goal to own the largest
network of premium African American web properties. He also spoke
of ConnectPlatform.com - a new tool that Moss developed to allow
African American individuals, groups, and organizations to create
their own social networks for free.
