FREE Social Skills Games for Kids to Work on at Home (12102 hits)

Creator: Rosemarie Griffin

Social skill instruction is so important! All that practice should not stop when we’re on break from school, during the summer, or distance learning at home. If you are working with students who have autism or difficulty with play and leisure skills, this FREE packet will help!

I’ve compiled some fun leisure activities for elementary aged students to try using games that most families already have lying around. These social skills activities can be incorporated into in person or speech teletherapy or aba sessions. They can also be used for teaching special education online or sent home to parents so learning can continue at home.

Tune into my YouTube channel for ABA SPEECH for a quick tutorial on how to play each game. I love showing these videos to students before we play because video modeling is a powerful strategy for teaching students new skills.
